    Summary

In what has been described as the greatest engineering disaster ever, the levees and flood walls designed to protect the city of New Orleans and surrounding regions failed catastrophically during hurricane Katrina. Beginning in April 2009, our firm, along with several others, tried the Robinson case as the first case to go to trial against the Corps of Engineers. This "test" case, designed to resolve common legal and factual issues, was concluded in May, 2009. A decision from the Court is expected shortly. As a public service we have posted many of the documents generated in the Robinson trial on line -- including Depositions, Expert Reports, Trial Transcripts, and soon trial Exhibits -- at www.KatrinaDocs.com
